What is the Qatar Police Clearance Certificate (Qatar PCC)?
This is an official document that attests to your good standing, ensuring that you have no criminal record. This is normally issued by the Ministry of Interior, as per the Qatar Criminal Evidences and Information Department (CEID).
Essentially, a background check will be conducted as a prerequisite for immigration, or for studying or getting a job in Qatar. This is also required for residency purposes, and may also be referred to as a Good Conduct or a Criminal Record Certificate.
What documents do I need to submit?
There are various documents you need to prepare to sort your PCC. This includes a valid Qatar ID (QID), a copy of your passport, as well as an authorisation letter if you’re applying via a certain service provider.
