In the country’s continuing efforts to improve its human capital, the Ministry of Labour has signed a partnership with Qatar Airways Group to further open up opportunities for Qatari employees in the industry. This enhances the logistics sector, with the agreement signed by Shaikha Abdulrahman Al Badi, Assistant Undersecretary for National Manpower Affairs in the Private Sector.
The co-signer for Qatar Airways Group was Mohammed Abdullah Fakhroo, Vice President of Nationalisation and Strategic Relations.
The MoL shall then continue to develop training initiatives with Qatar Airways Group for Qatari and children of Qatari women. These programmes will also boost employability and equip university graduates with the proper skills via the Qualifying and Skills Development Department. All these go hand-in-hand with the Third National Development Strategy.
“Through the High School Graduate Development Program, we aim to prepare a new generation of aviation professionals by offering world-class training, hands-on experience, and specialised career guidance. We look forward to welcoming these national talents and supporting their career journeys within Qatar Airways Group,” says Mohammed Abdullah Fakhroo.
Additionally, the High School Graduates Development Programme has also been launched, offering practical training as well as specialised career tracks. With the partnership between the government and the private sector, Qataris can look forward to navigating the labour market confidently and with the appropriate tools that lead to an enhanced national workforce, all according to the initiatives of the nationalisation plan.
