Qatar continues to ensure that all branches of the government are well-informed in terms of communications and information as the Planning and Statistics Authority announces the official release of a communications strategy on statistics. This strategy will function as a framework when it comes to communication regarding official statistics.
According to the Gulf Times, “President of the Planning and Statistics Authority Dr. Saleh Mohammad Al Nabit highlighted that the authority is constantly working to develop its workflows to keep up with the latest developments. His Excellency added that it is this commitment that prompted the launch of the strategy.”
With this kind of initiative, it is expected that country can enhance communication and boost the infrastructure of statistics infrastructure in the State of Qatar.
In other news, the National Cyber Security Agency has also launched a training session on “Legal Regulation of Cybersecurity”, which trained lawyers in different ministries about the crucial nuances of cybersecurity throughout the country. The NCSA was represented by the National Cyber Excellence Department. The five-day session was held in cooperation with the Center of Legal and Judicial Studies at the Ministry of Justice.
According to the head of the National Cyber Excellence Department of NCSA Dalal Al Aqidi, the workshop highlighted the importance of strengthening cybersecurity to enhance the digital safety of the nation. The session was able to help develop the skills of those who attended when it comes to the risks of cyber-attacks and cybercrimes.
