As such, initiatives include proper work-life balance as well as determining the proper working hours and workload for employees. This also includes clarity on distinct worker roles, as well as getting access to proper support and having autonomy over tasks. On a managerial level, proper work conditions include transparent processes at the workplace, which all contribute to psychological safety for employees.
To offer a better context, the International Labour Organization has published a global report on the matter on April 22nd. Interestingly enough, job insecurity is also part of “work-related risks”. As such, psychosocial risk factors should also be taken into consideration at the workplace – even more so as the market shifts to digitisation, remote work, and AI.
