Individuals who are looking for employment in the insurance sector can now look forward to the first phase of the practical training programme from the Ministry of Labour of Qatar. This is targeted toward Qataris from both genders and those with Qatari mothers.
In particular, the training programme forms one of the activities of the National programme for the private sector’s Nationalisation of jobs. With this, the Ministry of Labour collaborates with various companies within the private sector in order to boost nationalisation rates.
The theoretical training included in the programme involves General Takaful Insurance Company and Qatar General Insurance & Reinsurance Company with the Qatar Ministry of Labour. On the other hand, the practical training involves Doha Takaful, Qatar Islamic Insurance Group, and Qatar Insurance Company (QIC).
Theoretical training lasts for 3 days. Then, participants will need to train practically at the main headquarters of the participating company. This will last for 7 days. As such, participants will be able to immerse themselves in the nature of work in the company, such as in interviewing with recruitment officials as well.
This lets participants discover more information about how jobs in insurance companies work, as well as the circumstances of different fields within the sector. The first phase also sheds light on how essential it is to boost the national economy.
