The new visual identity for Qatar Manpower Solutions Company (Jusour) was unveiled by HE the Minister of Labor Dr Ali bin Samikh Al Marri. The Board Chairperson did so in a ceremony where representatives of the Board were in attendance.
Formerly known as WISA, Jusour offers a crucial part when it comes to the development of the country’s labour market. This, in turn, contributes to the improvement of the country’s economic endeavours in line with strategic national development goals as indicated in the Qatar National Vision 2030.
The Ministry of Labor is working hand in hand with Jusour to raise the bar for human capital in the country. This includes creating a more appealing environment in the labour market, as well as fostering a comprehensive platform where the skills of job seekers are nurtured. This helps in improving job opportunities as well across not only the labour industry but also the government and academia.
In other news, Qatar has just lifted the last of its mask restrictions for Covid-19 as indicated by the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH). According to the Council of Ministers, customer service employees will no longer be required to don their face masks while they are on duty. In line with this, wearing a face mask will also no longer be a requirement when it comes to entering healthcare facilities. This includes hospitals and medical centres.
Of course, the Ministry warns people to still be vigilant by not visiting patients that are admitted to hospital inpatient units if they are showing symptoms of any kind of respiratory infection.
