Kuwait Police Clearance Certificate
As issued by the Kuwait Criminal Evidences and Information Department (CEID), the Kuwait Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) from the Kuwait Ministry of Interior (MOI) aims to provide detailed information about the good conduct of an individual. This is done via a background check that helps to make sure that a person does not have a criminal record. In case a criminal record is present, the PCC of the applicant must reveal all the details of the criminal record for transparency purposes.
Ensuring the absence of a criminal record is a mandatory part of the submission requirements for immigration, further studies, and employment in Kuwait. Should you need to move to another country as part of the immigration protocol, the Kuwait Police Clearance Certificate will also be required by the next country. If you are a foreign resident with a valid Residence Permit, and you have been living in Kuwait for at least 6 months, you are eligible for this clearance status.
