The Ministry of Administrative Development Labor and Social Affairs (MADLSA) makes filing for labor complaints as well as approval modification requests seamless and efficient with its easy-to-access online service. You simply need to input the numbers of the Establishment ID and the Request. Then, select the appropriate Year and click “Search”.
When it comes to various labor complaints, workers in all fields will be able to raise their concerns about the workplace as well as issues on employment conditions to the MADLSA online. Input the Establishment ID number, then choose the Complaint number and the year to search for complaints as well.
On a different note, the MADLSA also allows citizens to register data for Productive Families. Productive families will be able to register their information after the relevant government authorities evaluate the products in question. These products must also be locally produced to qualify.
Interested parties may simply download and fill out the application form, which is readily available in the service information page. You can access this after selecting the “Family Affairs Department” menu once you are in the “E-Services & E-Forms” page. You must also include specific documents upon submission, such as a copy of your QID card, the samples of the products, as well as other relevant information. All of these, along with the required form, must be submitted to the Family Affairs Department in Al Huda Tower.
Keep in mind that registration is only allowed for Qatari citizens and the children of Qatari women. The project owner should be the one who produced or designed the product. There must also be at least five samples of the said product.
The prize for the productive families is worth QR600,000 in order to encourage participants to take their creativity to the next level. Prizes are normally distributed to the “best productive families” as well as the “best products”, with three winners in every category. Here, a specialized jury will be responsible for evaluating the products, with their expertise hailing from plenty of relevant bodies of authority such as the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Ministry of Administrative Development Labor and Social Affairs, Qatar Development Bank, Qatar Foundation for Social Work, Qatar Chamber, and the like.
According to Najat Al Abdullah, Director of the Family Affairs Department at the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs, a total of 33 productive families in 2019 out of 1,490 families registered competed for the ultimate prize. “The prize for the best productive family should go to a productive family, taking into account the number of its participation in events and exhibitions inside and outside the country, training courses and workshops organised by the ministry.”
