How to Apply for Profession Amendment in Qatar
Residents in Qatar are allowed to apply for the amendment of their corresponding job titles. These are indicated in a resident’s QID, and the request for amendment may be done through a representative or an authorized signatory. The concerned individual must attach the necessary required documents for the application.
If you wish to apply for the amendment online, simply click on the “E-Services and E-Forms” once you visit the “Services” menu on the official website of the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs (MADLSA). Afterward, you can then choose the “Recruitment” Department option.
Here, simply choose the “Profession Amendment Request” option. Then, you must select “Apply” in the service page. Once here, you need to input the required information. This includes the Establishment Number, the QID, as well as the Mobile Number of the individual. The information here must match the data that is indicated in the QID.
Once everything is in order, you have to verify the Captcha checkbox and click “Submit”.
Don’t forget to attach the following required documents to make sure that your application is complete (these are the requirements indicated from the Hukoomi portal):
- QID of the authorized signatory
- QID card of the applicant
- Company’s registration card
- Municipality license
- Commercial registration
- Education certificates certified by the official authorities
Keep in mind that you must verify everything by ticking the checkbox that confirms “I, the applicant, certify that all the above data is correct, and I bear responsibility in the event that otherwise is proven.”
If you wish to submit your application offline, simply download and fill out the application form. Attach the necessary documents as well, which include copies of the ID of the authorized person and the applicant, a copy of the academic certificates that are accredited by authorized parties, a verified copy of the Establishment ID of the company, as well as an authorized valid municipal license. Don’t forget to attach the previous employment contract of the applicant as well for reference.
Finally, make sure that you attach three original copies of the new employment contract that is duly signed by both parties. This should include the signature of the authorized person. Then, submit the bank statement that clearly indicates the salary amount of the applicant as well as the statement of account for six months.
